Family Ministries

288We believe that becoming a disciple of Jesus can start as early as nursery age and continue throughout life.

Our Core Vision


We grow children and youth to be lifelong disciples of Jesus through:

  1. Prayer
  2. Reading and studying the Bible
  3. Serving with the talents God has given them
  4. Sharing their faith in Jesus Christ
  5. Being in community with one another

262Here’s our ministry vision for each specific age group:

Nursery:  Ages 0-4 Years

Objectives: Teach children how to pray; explore the Bible together and read it; help our friends and neighbors; tell others about Jesus; and be nice those around us.

Goals:  Learn memory verse John 3:16 and how to pray.

Children’s Church:  Ages 4 years through 4th grade

Objectives: Teach children how to pray; read and find Scripture in the Bible; use our talents and gifts to serve; tell friends about Jesus; and learn how to get along and treat one another well.

Goals:  Know the basics of the Bible, a variety of memory verses, and how much God loves them.

Middle School Ministry (Planet 56-78):  Grades 5-8

Objectives: Teach and have youth pray; carry and read their own Bible; serve the church and community with their gifts and talents; tell their friends and neighbors about the love of Jesus; and learn how to get along with one another.

Family MinistriesGoals:  Know they are deeply loved and accepted by Jesus; accept the free gift of salvation; and follow Christ in baptism.

High School Ministry (The Grove): Grades 9-12

Objectives: Explore and develop an individual prayer and devotion life; carry and read their own Bible; serve in the church and community with their individual talents and gifts; reach out to those around them with the love of Jesus; and be in community and fellowship with each other.

Goals: Solidify their faith in Jesus Christ and have lifelong skills of discipleship, while encouraging membership into the church.
