We believe that becoming a disciple of Jesus can start as early as nursery age and continue throughout life.
Our Core Vision
We grow children and youth to be lifelong disciples of Jesus through:
- Reading and studying the Bible
- Serving with the talents God has given them
- Sharing their faith in Jesus Christ
- Being in community with one another
Here’s our ministry vision for each specific age group:
Nursery: Ages 0-4 Years
Objectives: Teach children how to pray; explore the Bible together and read it; help our friends and neighbors; tell others about Jesus; and be nice those around us.
Goals: Learn memory verse John 3:16 and how to pray.
Children’s Church: Ages 4 years through 4th grade
Objectives: Teach children how to pray; read and find Scripture in the Bible; use our talents and gifts to serve; tell friends about Jesus; and learn how to get along and treat one another well.
Goals: Know the basics of the Bible, a variety of memory verses, and how much God loves them.
Middle School Ministry (Planet 56-78): Grades 5-8
Objectives: Teach and have youth pray; carry and read their own Bible; serve the church and community with their gifts and talents; tell their friends and neighbors about the love of Jesus; and learn how to get along with one another.
Goals: Know they are deeply loved and accepted by Jesus; accept the free gift of salvation; and follow Christ in baptism.
High School Ministry (The Grove): Grades 9-12
Objectives: Explore and develop an individual prayer and devotion life; carry and read their own Bible; serve in the church and community with their individual talents and gifts; reach out to those around them with the love of Jesus; and be in community and fellowship with each other.
