Volunteer Opportunities

We believe that people grow in their faith when they use their

God-given gifts and talents to serve others.

Finding  a place to serve is a critical step to helping each of us grow.

Below are just some of the Volunteer Opportunities we have at Columbia Grove:

SERVE JOB DESCRIPTION SERVICE NEEDS
Outside Greeter Greet each individual as they make their way into church. Greet once or twice a month for three months.
Bulletin Distribution Greet church attendees and hand out bulletin. Greet once a month for three months.
Front Desk Greeter Greet attendees, assist them with name tags. Greet once a month for three months.
Refreshment Bringer Bring refreshments to either service. One Sunday every two months.
Communion Server Serve communion        elements. Serve Communion once a month for 3 months.
Communion       Set-Up Set up/Tear down the communion table. Set up Communion once a month for 3 months.
Nursery Attendant Provide care to children in   nursery. Attend one Sunday 9am service every 2 months.
Youth Group      Volunteer Assist Youth Group leaders with games, discussions. Wednesday evenings 6:30-8pm; as available
Mid-week Kids Connect Volunteer Assist teachers with various children’s  activities. Thursday evenings Feb 16th-March 29th.
Transform Ministry Center for Mid-Week Assist in setting up Ministry Center for Mid-Week kids group into a movie theme To be determined
Children’s Church Assistant Assist teacher in           children’s church. Assist 2 months a year or once a month.
Grades 5-6 Helper Assist leader in provided activities. During 9 am or 11 am service or Thursday nights.
