Pastor Andrew Thompson
Andrew grew up in Nelson B.C. where he met and married his High School sweetheart Anita. Prior to arriving in Wenatchee, he served as Worship Leader at Redeemer Church in Park Ridge, IL while completing his Master of Divinity degree through North Park Theological Seminary. Before that, he served as Minister of Music and Youth at Wiley Heights Covenant Church in Yakima WA for seven years. He is a published songwriter whose songs are being used by churches across the US and Canada, and he has recorded a number of CDs. They have two daughters, Lauren and Elizabeth. Their house also includes two rabbits: “Joseph” and “Flowercup,” and two guinea pigs: “Dr. Marbles” and “Shaggy Maggy.”
In their spare time, the Thompsons like biking, cross-country skiing and trying to figure out how to keep the plants in their yard alive.
Family Ministries Director
Meghan Rush
It’s Meghan’s job to coordinate and help develop our Children’s and Youth Ministry programs and volunteers. With all the kids and youth that are a part of our church, that’s a sizable job!
Meghan and her husband Shawn have three children, including one teenage daughter. Meghan earned her black belt in Karate in 2011.
Seminary Intern
Jenna Brand 
Jenna also comes from Chicago and is our intern for the year. She’s especially working to strengthen our adult discipleship, but she helps a little bit with everything.
Jenna is getting her Masters of Divinity through North Park Theological Seminary and we are happy to have her with us this next year. In her spare time she loves reading outside and going to movies. Her goal for the year is to try every Taco Wagon in Wenatchee… so feel free to bring some tacos by the Ministry Center!
Administrative Assistant
Linda Belton
Linda, along with her team of volunteers, keeps the office administration and church wide communications running smoothly so that our church stays organized, connected and informed. She comes to us from an extensive background in sales and marketing.
She is married to Dave. Together they have three children, and two grandkids – plus one more grandchild on the way! (Ask her about them to see her face light up!)
Linda’s passion is helping people. She is also the Chairperson of the “Soles From Heaven” ministry that gives away more than 1000 of pairs of new shoes to needy children every year.
Operations Manager
Dave Belton
Dave’s job is to oversee the development and scheduling for the teams of singers, musicians and technicians and that lead worship each week. Ever wonder how many volunteers it takes to put together life-changing worship services in a portable church setting? Dave knows.
He is married to Linda, a father of three and grandpa of two, soon to be three.
Dave can fix almost anything! Sometimes we’re tempted to break things just to see how fast he can put it all back together.
Worship Arts Development Director
Steve Clem
Steve brings a rich background of musical talent, both as the owner of Avalon Music in Wenatchee and from decades of musical experience.
Steve’s job is to coordinate our musician teams and keep track of the hundreds of technical details involved in a portable church and develop musical, media and other artistic elements that enhance worship. I mean, really? How hard could that be?
Middle School Ministries Student Director
Mackenzie Mahon
Mackenzie runs our discipleship program for 5th and 6th graders, Area 56. She’s currently a senior at Wenatchee High School who’s passionate about seeing kids get to know Christ.
Steve says she looks a lot like Chloe O’Brian from the TV show 24, only younger. What do you think?
Our Leadership Team
Our Leadership Team is responsible for “building, maintaining and overseeing the spiritual welfare of the congregation and for directing and overseeing all ministries and business affairs of the church.”
Team members are elected by the Membership to serve for three year terms. Officers of the Leadership Team are decided by the team.
