“The Grove” Youth Group

Youth Ministry

The Grove youth group is a wonderful discipleship ministry for youth in 7th-12th grade.

The Grove youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Ministry Center, 802 Valley Mall Parkway.

Each evening includes a worship band, games, and a Bible discussion with teens split into age appropriate groups. Teens are free to join at any time  and are encouraged to bring friends as often as they like.

In addition, every fall we offer a “Youth Leadership Training” class that offers an overview of Bible basics, along with basic character, leadership and ministry skill development.

The Grove participates in several outings throughout the year. Each teenager is required to have a permission slip signed by legal guardians.

Involvement

More than anything, teens are regularly involved in a variety of ministries in our church: playing in the worship band, delivering Children sermons, teaching younger students, serving on short term mission teams, and leading in prayer, worship and peer discipleship. We believe in the gifts and talents that God is placing in the next generation and are doing all we can to create a healthy space for these young lives to grow and thrive.
