We help people discover their God-given gifts and talents, and we encourage them to use them to serve their neighborhoods, community and world.
We have two big “all-church” service projects each year.
In the Summer, we partner with Serve Wenatchee Valley to put shoes on thousands of kids as they return to school through a project we callĀ Soles from Heaven. Our most major fund raiser for this we call “Kids Bike for Shoes.”
In the Winter, we support our church and community families with a project we refer to as our Giving Tree. This is a program where we collectively sponsor an individual or a family and tangibly show the love of Christ at Christmas. The Columbia Grove Ministry Center on 802 Valley Mall Parkway also hosts an outlet of Serve Wenatchee Valley’s food bank. The Food Bank has served over 375 people since opening in July. Please continue to pray for all the families that have been served.
If you want to drop off non perishable food, you can do so at the Ministry Center Mon-Thursday 1-5 pm.
We also offer Pastoral Counselling and otherĀ counsellingĀ referrals at our Ministry Center. Please make an appointment to meet with Pastor Andrew by calling our church office at 860-4001.
Columbia Grove is now the specified non-food distribution point for East Wenatchee. Items are most appreciated such as shampoo, laundry detergent, feminine items, soap, toilet paper, razors and shaving cream.
In addition, we’re engaged in a wide variety of smaller projects – most happening through Connection Groups. Each group chooses an area they are interest in serving. It’s the main way we help people find their service fit… by giving people a chance to try different things and see what fits.
