Serve

We help people discover their God-given gifts and talents, and we encourage them to use them to serve their neighborhoods, community and world.

In the summer we partner with the State of Washington to help provide nutritious meals for at risk kids though the Simple Summer Feeding Program.

Throughout the rest of the  year we serve in a number of ways:

Food Bank:

If you want to drop off non-perishable food, you can do so at the Ministry Center Monday -Thursday 1-5 pm.

Non-Food Bank:

Items such as shampoo, laundry detergent, feminine items, soap, toilet paper, razors and shaving cream are especially appreciated.

Life Skills Workshops:

Practical life skills, such as budgeting, resume writing and goal setting are taught by qualified teachers.

Benevolence Fund:

We provide financial help in times of dire need through our Benevolence Fund. Much of the time this is through 0% interest micro loans, whereby the person we partner with, rather than going to a Payday Loan business, is able to get the funds needed to help in the time of crisis, but with a plan for “paying it forward,” so as their situation improves, they are able to  pay back the loan.

We also offer Pastoral Counselling and other counselling referrals at our Ministry Center. Please make an appointment to meet with Pastor Andrew by calling our church office at 860-4001.

We’d love to help you find a place that your gifts and talents can make a lasting difference. If you’d like some person assistance with that, the form below is a great place to start.
